Position Description
Estimated weekly time commitment: 1-2 hours
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
Writing a monthly blog post
Updating the Pen Friends Collective website and blog as required
Updating and moderating the Facebook group on a weekly basis
Developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to increase engagement
Managing and overseeing social media content on different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Staying up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
Designing content that is informative and appealing
Collaborating with other executive team members
Qualifications

Strong content development skills
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
Proven ability to work both independently and with a team
Creative and resourceful
Ability to conceptualize and execute graphic design projects
Demonstrated abilities using GSuite, SquareSpace, and social media platforms
Bonus:
Working towards diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
Experience in marketing and communications
Experience in the non-profit sector
