Position Description

Estimated weekly time commitment: 1-2 hours

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and executing a strategic plan for volunteer recruitment

  • Updating and moderating the Facebook group as required

  • Implementing volunteer recruitment strategies in community environments

  • Providing volunteers with training and support, tracking their performance, and keeping records of their activities

  • Verifying volunteer availability, receiving their feedback, recognizing their efforts, and answering their questions

  • Providing marketing support for volunteer retention and engagement

  • Collaborating with other executive team members

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated abilities using GSuite, email marketing, and social media platforms

Bonus:

  • Working towards diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field

  • Experience in marketing, communications, and volunteer engagement or management

  • Experience in the non-profit sector
